We have worked on many properties and seen it all over the years. Some repeat offenders on the list are over-planted beds, planting too close to the house, poorly chosen mass plantings, and large plants in places that cannot accommodate them. These mistakes seem small initially, but they add up each year, impacting the beauty and increasing the expense of maintaining your property. 

We know and recommend native and drought-tolerant plants while also considering the client’s preferences and goals. 

 

We value and respect large landscape maintenance companies; they are a big part of our work! That said, we also know that they do not necessarily specialize in detailed design. There is a lot to consider when building a properly planted, sustainable landscape, and we have made it our business to focus on the art of the design.

With over 30 years of combined experience, we’ve redesigned countless landscapes where plants were overcrowded, placed too close to homes, or struggled due to poor planning. Even the best companies face these issues - not from a lack of care, but because their focus is on operational efficiency. We admire the businesses that manage large teams successfully, but our approach is different. By specializing in thoughtful, tailored design, we bridge the gap between large-scale operations and individualized solutions, benefiting both businesses and homeowners alike.
